We love weddings!
It's such a big day for everyone involved and we know it can get overwhelming with details, last minute changes and unexpected hiccups. We don't want you to experience any stress during such a special occasion. In conjunction with our catering services, we offer an add-on option for day of coordination! Our wedding coordinator Stephanie leads our amazing team who are there to manage the day of your reception so you don't have to. That way, you and your partner can focus on what's truly important; yourselves and your loved ones there to celebrate.
Here are some of the things we do for you!
- Unlimited hours on your wedding day. We are typically the first to arrive and the last to leave
- We will address any issues that may arise on your day. We go to great lengths to ensure the success of your wedding.
- Manage set up! For example: table placards, guest book, cake server set, favors, ceremony programs, menu cards, specialty tablescapes and any other décor that will be executed to your specifications
- Make certain that you, your partner, parents and wedding party are comfortable and all have the attention and service deserved on your wedding day
- Receive, manage and coordinate all deliveries and vendors as they load in and set up
- Ensure that all personal flowers are distributed prior to the ceremony
- Make certain that guests with special needs of any kind receive care and assistance
- Greet your guests warmly, direct them to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the appropriate times
- Ensure that every guest finds their seat and assist with any seating arrangement changes
- Round up, cue and make sure that all of your bridal party including flower girl and ring bearer make it down the aisle at the appropriate times
- Ensure your wedding rings make it down the aisle
- Make sure that you make it down the aisle, ready for your big moment; ensuring that your dress is perfect and that your train is fluffed and placed perfectly for your walk with your escort
- Make certain your marriage license is completed correctly and the designated person receives the license to file it on your behalf
- Make sure that you get your favorite beverages and hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour if you will not be attending due to photos, etc.
- Assure that your reception entertainment has the correct sound, power and proper staging
- Make certain that all finishing touches are finalized and perfect (including EVERY candle is lit) before your guests are allowed into the reception
- Assist your DJ/MC with all of the announcements as well as make sure that your photographer/videographer is present for any events being announced.
- Inform you and your partner of every event taking place next, so you are never caught off guard
- Supervise and communicate with the caterer(if not booked with Chomp!) to ensure the best possible service for your guests during dinner (from managing the buffet line to ensuring that each plated dinner is received by the correct recipient)
- Make sure that every person scheduled for toasts is given a “heads up” and are prepared to give their speech
- Distribute any final balances or gratuity checks to vendors
- Be there by your side to guide you through your wedding day and keep things on schedule
- Collect and coordinate your wedding gifts, cake server set, toasting flutes, etc to their designated place or designated car
- Assure your getaway transportation is ready to go, your “to go” plates are packed up and your overnight bags have made into the car
- Manage clean up -for example: ensure all your personal items and presents are packed and given to the designated person or in the designated car
